Club News
The recent resurfacing of the tennis courts, funded by Awards for All and South Cambs DC, makes for wonderful facilities. Making use of our new courts, the establishment of netball in Bourn last year has been a great success, with up to 18 women taking part, supported by coaching. It is hoped that a team will be raised in 2008 and entered into a local league.
The Club is now analysing responses to the recent Bourn parish survey to see if other other sports and leisure activities are in demand and whether we can support them. Ideas for new activities are always welcome. We also need and more volunteers. Any training will be paid for by the Club. All members are entitled to enter our annual ballot for Wimbledon tickets but volunteering gains an extra place in the ballot.
